Happy holidays

To every reader of this blog I wish merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Lots of muffins and quality time with your family. May this time of celebration be special in every way.

And above all - I wish you some quiet time for reflecting about the past year.

Lots of muffins and time to reflect the passing year - this is what winter holidays are all about indeed. Happy holidays to you too.

Happy new year to you as well :)

Lots of muffins

No way :) I don't want to repeat the horrible experience of last December, when I gained nearly 0.6 kg :))

I never thought of you as being a muffin girl. Hey, just don't eat to much of them, that is the only advice I can give you :)

Jin - not quite the muffin eating girl; my family likes them a lot and my single obligation towards them is to bake as many chocolate chip+banana muffins during the holidays as I can. They're disappearing too fast... :) And after having given up Nutella (I WAS a sin), how could I turn to muffins?

Ill-advised - you're good! At least you got to eat actual food. I gain as much if I only drink a bottle of water. ;)

And after having given up Nutella

I have given up on Nutella too...

...in favour of Nussenia :)) Tastes just as good at half the price, and at room temperature it's even softer and creamier than Nutella. Woe is me :))

At least you got to eat actual food. I gain as much if I only drink a bottle of water. ;)

<four yorkshiremen> Bah, that's nothing. I used to gain as much from just looking at pictures of food in the newspapers... :)) </four yorkshiremen>

But you do eat Sarma for New Year, do you? If not I'll be mighty disapointed in you :) hehe

Yes, this year I did eat it, but it's not any sort of tradition in our family, so I don't get to eat it every year.

Happy New Year to you too. Glad I came across your nice site, I will link to it and check on it from time to time, it is nice meeting Slovenes here as I'm an American visiting Lj now, as well as others on line. There truly is a great web community here and writing blogs in English no less, a truly wonderful place it is here.

Hello and welcome, Jayman! Thanks for linking. How long are you currently staying in Ljubljana? I discovered your blog (through si.blogs, I believe) a few days before you discovered mine; anyways, I thought it was really good, but hadn't had enough time to read much. But I'm coming back to read some more. :)
