Don't be so misterious! :)

Yes, I'm feeling cryptic. The Hopper painting says it all.
As long as I'm unsure of it, I can't talk about it. But you'll get bits and pieces in the following days.

Time. To get married?

No, Ed. Marriage can wait.

Well, to me the painting implies some negative connotations and certainly not the marriage. One of the interpretations I found online suggests: "It seems that no matter what she does, the man still refuses to acknowledge that she is even in the room. Overall, the scene gives the viewer the impression that the woman is currently feeling sad or even neglected by her husband." Nadezhda, I really hope everything is fine in your relationship with your boyfriend.

Tina - so sorry to have kept you waiting. Unrgent business and then I forgot about your comment...
Anyways - yes, that's what my explanation of the painting is. Although in my case, I don't have problems with boyfriend but with my (used to be) best friend. I've never seen a painting with the expressive power of the Hopper's painting where two women would be occupying the sofa. Will write more later this week. Now I've got sooo much studying to do still and so little time. :(
